I don't have the money to do other courses let’s do short course

 short courses in Islamabad

It moves you closer toward specialization.
Lawyers, doctors, mathematician's, engineers, computer programmers all possess a well-defined skill set.
On the contrary, people who studied history, politics, philosophy, English, politics, and other social science degrees don't emerge from University with a marketable skill-set. Although many of these grads are very bright, prospective employers just don't see much value in hiring someone who cannot do x, y and z when starting a job.
Of course there are many programs, which hire across the board, but are often very competitive programs due to their generous scope. If you are to increase your chances of landing a grad job I strongly suggest building your skill set by taking a short courses in Islamabad in your chosen field. A good example is a short course in Microsoft excel. This is a program in which it seems there always room for improvement, and moreover most employers will often ask for excel proficiency as prerequisite.
Now, you may be thinking, "yeah, but I don't have the money to do other courses. I've already entrenched myself in student debt." Sure, I was also in this position, and still am actually J. Remember there are many free/cheap learning resources out there like short courses in islamabad. Some may give a certificate upon completion. Others will not. Gaining new knowledge, whether it comes from paper or not, is irrelevant. New knowledge gained adds value to you, and makes you a more employable prospect.
One resource which I use a lot for both paid and free learning resources is short courses in rawalpindi. Most of the courses are tech focused, but many of these can still prove beneficial to somebody who does not have a tech background - like this course on how to build a Word press site - Great opportunity to learn how to promote through a dynamic digital channel.

Short courses compatibility expectations & personalities and families of origin

 short courses in Islamabad

Compatibility - Relationships simply cannot work unless there is compatibility. What this means is that for the most part the way the two of you think, feel and act is similar to each other: not identical, but similar.
I have an adage that applies so well to this and that is: "while it is often the differences that attract us to another it will be the similarities that will keep us there for the long term."
What happens in a healthy relationship is that your attraction to your partner may be for the qualities that they have that you would like to own yourself. If you are open to attaining those qualities, as they would be of the characteristics that you possess that they might not, then each of you becomes more rounded within yourselves. To know all about it you must do short courses in Islamabad. This then leads to more closeness with each other.
Expectations - Rightly or wrongly we all have expectations of each other. Some of these you know consciously and have no problem in articulating. Others however are located within our subconscious mind and come from our early life experiences during which we made decisions about how life was going to pan out for us.
The experiences you have are both in terms of how those most influential in your life, starting with your parents, responded to you as a child together with your observations of how these people responded to each other for more do short courses in islamabad.
So believe that you have a right to expect certain things from your partner and know that they have the same right to expect certain things from you, and not as a God given right but as your right as a human being to be treated with dignity and respect.
Personalities and families of origin - This is where I do most of my work as a Counselor at short courses in rawalpindi . As spoken about previously we all come with our own baggage from our families of origin. That's human nature and not intended in any way to be a slur on your parenting.
Each of our responsibility as we enter adulthood is to review our earlier lives to check for any conflict in what we learned as a child and how we now want to live our lives as adults. This is despite how perfect our parents may have been because there is one critical difference and that is about who we are as people.
Our personalities are different from our parents, for all sorts of reasons not the least of which relates to our life experiences. Because of this, and because you now live in another time in history, what suited them and their circumstances is simply not going to apply to you and your circumstances.
A simple example of this has come up in my own family just recently. I was a stay-at-home mum when my children were growing up. This suited my personality and my life circumstances perfectly. Now my children have to revise this practice as they consider their life's situations and their own personalities with regards to their children. And that is just as it should be.

Guide to Becoming a Computer Technician

short courses in islamabad
short courses in islamabad
Such is our dependence on computers to perform all tasks - from the most mundane to the most crucial - that it's nothing short of a catastrophe when your so far reliable machine suddenly stops responding. At this time, who's that one person who can not only resuscitate your computer, but also pump your failing heart back to life? Yes, you guess it right. It's none other than your good old computer technician.
Computer technicians are the warriors, who save the day when a hard disk crashes, or a software program gets corrupted or worse still, a computer gets infected by a malicious virus.
If you also want to be the super hero of the cyber world, here's a complete guide to becoming a computer technician. We have broken down the process of becoming a computer tech into three different stages.
High school is the time you start building a foundation for a computer technician career. Take classes in math, physics, computers, and any other course that you think might be helpful in developing the skills necessary to become a computer technician.
In addition to working on building your technical prowess, you should also look to develop your interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
Interviewing professionals from the industry or shadowing them at work is an excellent way to learn the demands of the profession as well as figure out if this is what you really want to do with your life. Only if you have the right information will you be able to make the right decision or at least avoid making an expensive mistake.
Skill Acquisition in short courses in islamabad
The second stage begins when you start school for a computer technician course. Educational requirements for this job greatly vary and mostly depend on the role you're after. For some roles, employers may prefer hiring candidates with a college degree, while some positions may have postsecondary vocational training as the minimum required credential.
Whether you want to go to college or complete a vocational computer short courses in rawalpindi from a career school is a decision you have to make based on your personal situation, financial circumstances and career aspirations.
But one thing that's certainly going to be the most powerful weapon in your arsenal is the A+ certification from the Computing Technology Industry Association or CompTIA. CompTIA A+ is an entry-level certification that validates the foundational knowledge and skills of individuals preparing for IT support roles.
The certification is granted to individuals who obtain passing scores on two required exams. Although your computer technician course will likely prepare you for this certification exam, you may also want to explore the option of taking CompTIA A training at a learning center. Other tools you can use for comprehensive exam preparation are study materials and e-learning courses.
Real World Experience
Going to school and getting certification are important if you want to become a computer technician, but nothing will provide you a stronger taste of things to come as some real world, hands-on industry experience.
There are two ways of gaining some work experience while you complete your training. You can apply for unpaid intern positions, if available, at small sized companies and start-ups. Your other alternative is to become a one-man (or woman) computer-fix shop for your friends, family, neighbors, et al. The more real problems you solve for real people, the more you will learn.
Don't forget, the job market for computer technicians can be pretty competitive and you need to do everything in your power to stand out from the crowd rather than get lost in it.

What is a Geologist's Salary on an Oil Rig?

short courses in islamabad
short courses in islamabad
Are you thinking about taking up a Geology major in college or petroleum short courses in islamabad? It is not a bad course, and prospects are pretty good overall. Employment opportunities look pretty solid for the next few decades, strongly supported by world economic fundamentals. After all, geologists are the people who find new deposits of oil, gas, metals and minerals - all of them raw materials in great demand from both developed countries (e.g. the USA and Europe) and developing countries (especially Pakistan). The major employers of geologists are the government sector, the mining industry and the oil/gas industry.
So, what is a geologist' salary on an oilrig? According to a 2008 survey by American Geologic Institute, it ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 for a fresh Geology graduate with a relevant Masters degree. Another survey by the University of Houston in 2007 indicated that experienced petroleum geologists (10 years and up) earn an average salary of $132,132 a year. Those are increases of 50% for new geologists on offshore oil platforms and 23% for experienced geologists prospecting for oil since 2003/2004. This is a salary range that can turn the CEOs of many small companies green with envy. So if you want to be a part of this industry as Pakistani get enrolled in short courses in Islamabad.
But it is now the summer of 2010 and we have just exited one major recession and hit a major bump in the road because of the Deepwater Horizon disaster. Surely there must be some impact for a geologists working offshore? Well, if you are graduating (or a veteran looking for a new employer) today, there will probably be some artificial downward pressure on your pay. But seriously, the demand for oil workers and people who can find oil is not dependent on the short-term status of the economy. The demand for skilled geologists and other rig workers has historically depended on the price of oil. Just look at the Roaring '80s, where the economy was booming but the price of oil was low. Oil companies and drilling contractors were laying off workers left and right. Look at our recent recession for an example of the opposite - the price of oil remained strong ($60 to $70 per barrel) despite the weak economy. Although they laid off workers on less productive land-based oil fields, they hired workers for newer and more lucrative offshore oil fields.
Fundamentally, there are three major reasons why a geologist will still continue to earn the big bucks for the next 10, 20 or even 30 years. The first is that it is difficult to train a good geologist. 20,000 students enrol in Geology each year, but only 2,800 graduate with the needed specialties to look for oil. Geology is a four-year course, and it is not easy to pass. Besides, a field geologist is not someone who lives above the clouds in an ivory tower. He is, frequently, someone who must travel long distances, face both man-made and natural danger, and work in difficult situations. In some ways, he is closer to Indiana Jones (except with a Geology degree instead of an Archaeology degree) than he is to Einstein.
A second major reason for the continued strong demand for Geology graduates is that many old, experienced oil geologists are now in their 40s, 50s or 60s. The previously cited University of Houston survey also discovered that 72% of oil workers are above 40. Most of them were last hired in the last oil boom in the 1970s, and are the survivors of the oil glut of the 1980s. Those who left the oil industry went to more stable government jobs (or to work for the mining companies) in the mass lay-offs. Any good oil company CEO knows that a good petroleum geologist who can find him a new oil field is worth as much as the Marketing director or Finance Director.
The third big reason is that oil is an important fuel and raw material for modern plastics, etc. Even if greener technologies (e.g. hydroelectricity, solar panels and wind turbines) overtake oil in importance, there is no replacement for the use of oil to create all the different kinds of plastic in use today. By the way, if you are so worried about green energy supplanting oil, consider these facts:
  • Solar panels are made of plastic (synthesized from petroleum) and silicon;
  • The bodies of wind turbines are largely made of plastic;
  • The heavy vehicles and equipment used for building hydroelectric dams, mining aluminium (for wind turbine blades) and silicon (for solar panels) are usually diesel-powered;
  • The trains, ships and trucks used to move the raw materials (e.g. aluminium and silicon) from the mines to the factory for processing all run on diesel.
Basically, good geologists  from petroleum short courses in Rawalpindi are in great demand. Among their most important duties is helping to find new sources of oil. Their salaries will remain high for a good, long time to come.

How A Management Course Can Help You Progress In Your Career

short courses in islamabad
short courses in islamabad
Getting ahead at work today often means that we have to be the best we can be at what we do. It is often said that the world of work today is very different from what it was just a couple of decades ago, with many people not staying in the same job all their lives, but instead changing roles many times to meet demand for certain skill sets.
This means that staying ahead of the competition is important, and all the training and skills that you can gain will only serve to enhance and make you more attractive to prospective employers. Management short courses in Islamabad is certainly just one of these things that you can do to get ahead relatively rapidly.
There are several main reasons why taking a management short courses in Islamabad  is such as bright idea. These not only centre on the skills that you can learn from such a try, but also some of the complementary benefits that will help you progress in your career.
First of all, a management course will help give you leadership and people skills that are exceptionally highly valued in almost any workplace. Along with the ability to work in a team, the skill of leading a group of people is essential if you want to move onwards and upwards in any career path that you have chosen or that you see yourself on.
The world of work values people who can take responsibility, set an example for their team, inspire trust and effectively move people towards a common goal. Although many people have leadership potential, it can take experience in the workplace or a training course to bring out these innate abilities.
This is one of the reasons that it is possible to find many different types of management course as employers push their employees down the path of further training, hoping to bring out the best in them in the long run. Bringing out people's innate leadership qualities always helps to serve the organisation that they work for.
As well as enhancing leadership skills, this also give you a chance to work as part of a team of people who are not who you usually work within your day job. This is valuable experience that future employers will look for, not only because you are proving your teamwork skills but also your ability to adapt to working with new people.
Adaptability and solid people skills are other attributes that are highly valued, meaning that this kind of course can also boost your competency in the eyes of prospective employers. Being able to work together with a group of virtual strangers is necessary in these kinds of courses, and this will show well on all participants of this professional training.
Lastly, taking management short courses in rawalpindi also shows a great determination to improve and to succeed, which will look very good and show a positive reflection of your character. People who are looking to develop themselves and push themselves are highly valued in the world of work, and undergoing professional training of your own volition is a clear indicator of this.
With many employees looking to improve themselves with a management course, many major cities have plenty on offer in the way of professional training for the people working there and travelling there. These cities are cheap to fly to and offer some of the best training, and therefore could be well worth your consideration.
Regardless of where you study management skills, rest assured that this type of training will not only help you develop your skill set further, but it will also build your character and show you in the best light on your resume.

Computer Software Training - Virtually

short courses in islamabad
short courses in islamabad
When you attend short courses in islamabad, what do you get? Well, what you paid for, of course. But what if you find that you have paid for the wrong track? Or you found that the short courses in islamabad is too easy for you? How easy is it for you to switch to another course then? Do you have to wait for a few days? Weeks? Or indefinitely? Do you have to tolerate all that basic stuff till near the end of the course duration and get what you came for? Can you ask the instructor to skip topics when the rest of the class seems to be junior at it? Is the trainer willing to give you more than what is beyond the paid course contents? Just how much more? Do you have to worry about sitting for tests at the end of the lesson that seem to test your language more than your skills? Wait! Does that classroom air-condition temperature seem perpetually freezing? Or like in the oven?
Why do I raise these issues? The simple answer is - they are the constant frustrations of classroom training attendees I hear time and time again. Chances are, you faced some or all of these issues yourself. Software trainers with some years of experience report the feedback on short courses in rawalpindi structure, targeted content and administrative ease, contain these disappointing remarks. It is true that flexibility, targeted contents and practicality play significant roles on the impact of the entire course - not just the experience and proficiency of the trainer. And there is the test or examination factor. For many of these attendees who came for knowledge, the test or exam factor actually shortchanged them of course hours, more hands-on and a conducive learning atmosphere. Adding on, some examination systems seem to take an eternity to log on to, owing to server delays, network traffic or bad programming. In short, participants do not get the satisfaction and objective they hoped for. It is a one-size-fits-all solution with limited or no repeat broadcast. Refresher sessions a few months down the road are virtually non-existent. Or it comes with a reluctant 'yes' on the provider's part (after much convincing on the trainees' part), along with a hefty 'token' fee.
What really counts, is that attendees learn something out of the course. That their understanding of the application increases. That they can make use of the application in the field - when they have to produce something, and have the confidence to assert that the application can do this and that; or that some things are out of the application scope. Right? So that is why I advocate flexible, practical, targeted online training that give the participants control over their learning or needs.
Here are what I find appealing about virtual training:
  1. Participants can sample tutorials before deciding.
  2. Participants can repeat lessons as often as they wish.
  3. Participants can pause the instructor at their own comfort.
  4. Participants can take the course where and when they are most comfortable.
  5. Participants can switch to a course that is more suitable for them anytime.
  6. Participants can follow their own pace, not the pace of the slowest or fastest learner in class.
  7. Participants can take ONLY the topics that they require, not those they already know.
  8. Participants can access all other possible topics when they need them. These should include popular software titles like Microsoft Office, Macromedia Flash, Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop and technical courses like MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, CompTIA A+ (for PC technologies) and Network+.
  9. If the participants themselves are trainers, it is a good, fast, quick and reliable way to revise topics before that BIG delivery day.
  10. If participants have an URGENT crash course need, it is within their reach.
And, importantly too, it should not burn a hole in their pockets where affordability is concerned.
